Medications at School

  • Please have the doctor complete the Medications At School form prior to dropping off any medications that need to be given throughout the school day.
  • All medications should be delivered directly to the nurse by the parent/guardian.
  • All medications should be received in their original container with the pharmacy label.
  • Students may not have any medications on their person during the day. All medications should be kept in the health office with the appropriate paperwork from the MD. Any medications within a student’s possession will be confiscated for a parent/guardian to pick up.
  • If your child has Asthma, please have the MD complete the Asthma Action Plan and provide the inhaler. An inhaler may be kept on the student.
  • If your child has a food allergy, please have the MD complete the Allergy Action Plan and provide the Epinephrine. An Epi-Pen may be kept on the student.
