Located in the heart of the Robbinsville community, Pond Road Middle School provides a nurturing, student-centered learning environment for students in grades 5-8, one in which parents and staff work together to provide educational experiences, in and out of the classroom, for the individual child.
Our program includes teams of teachers working with students to provide core content instruction and a full array of practical and fine arts courses. School programs are designed to meet the needs of appropriate age level groups and special needs students. In addition, we offer a full Pre-Algebra and Algebra I program to our seventh and eighth grade students. In Language Arts, we engage in a balanced literacy approach, requiring students to write daily while fostering the communication skills necessary for productive adult interactions.
Pond Road Middle School Mission
Pond Road Middle School will provide a safe, nurturing learning environment to support the whole child. With the cooperation of the community, parents, teachers, and students, we will pursue excellence by providing challenging opportunities to maximize each student’s intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and creative potential. Our fundamental philosophy is that learning is a lifelong process through which we develop responsibility for ourselves and our actions.
